Professor Uno Erikson (Ph.D. MD) posesses the rich experience of both research and clinical work in the field of diagnostic radiology, and he has been head of a clinical department as well as Dean of the medical faculty at the University of Uppsala. Examples of innovations developed by him are the Videodensitometer, the world first dimerical contrast agent (in cooperation with Professor B Ingelman), and coronary and renal catheters, a pericardiocenthesis kit, DX and Sin markers, and rulers for radiology.
Professor Carl-Eric Lindholm (PhD. MD) is much acclaimed internationally for both research and clinical work in the field of Ear, Nose and Throat. Examples of innovations developed by him are anatomical oval shaped tracheal tubes and artificial 'noses' designed to manage humidity and temperature change as a tracheal attachment. Carl-Eric Lindholm has presented intubation research results as a Swedish representative of The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). This work has resulted in new stanards, to the benefit of patient groups all over the world.
